Quilted walking sticks
I've been making this type of cane
for quite a while, they're fun and entirely unique, rather like a patchwork
quilt. Hence the name.

Sometimes I'm not sure why I do things.
For instance, here's an oak shaft with a great big knot just in the wrong
spot. The knot is splinted with purpleheart and zebrawood, and there is
a walnut spline across the grip. |
